Friday October 15: At at 9am, buses will depart the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Shadyside to view a private collection in a home in Oakland, followed by a visit to another collection in Pt. Breeze. After a boxed lunch we will arrive at 1pm at the Kimbo gallery, William Pitt Union, at the University of Pittsburgh to view a curated show of Pittsburgh's finest Haitian Art, followed by the lectures in the nearby ballroom until 4pm. Then dinner at Galerie Macondo until 8pm. •••••• |
Saturday October 16: at 9:30 am, buses will leave the Marriott Courtyard to visit a home collection In Squirrel Hill, then a ride through the Western PA countryside which should be ablaze with Fall colors, to visit another fine collection, lunch in the barn, then on to FALLINGWATER, the signature house of Frank Lloyd Wright, then on to another fabulous home in the area for dinner, music and general gaiety. Scheduled events end in the late evening ••••••• Sunday, October 17: For those who will be staying, breakfast will be served at Galerie Macondo, after which you may wish to tour the city. There is lots to see.

Accommodations We have reserved a block of rooms at the Marriott Courtyard Inn, Shadyside, Pittsburgh, for a daily rate of $149 plus $18 per day if you need to park a car. This will include several meals, local transportation , and admission to all house tours, lectures and Fallingwater. All attendees are required to join the Haitian Art Society, an additional $25 for one year, so the total will be $150 if you have not already paid your dues for 2010.
